Job Description

Position Summary Works under the direction of the CVRCC Program Manager and manages and directs domestic violence (DV) advocacy programming within the CVRCC. The position ensures victim services are trauma-informed and client-centered. It also focuses on strengthening partnerships, supervising the DV advocates, and enhancing service coordination and outcomes through data-driven performance enhancements.
Pay Grade:
53 Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications Three (3) years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within victim services, advocacy, or social/human services; AND Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, criminal justice, psychology, public administration, or a closely related field; OR An equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities Provides overall leadership and direction for DV advocacy services. Supervises assigned staff, ensuring delivery of trauma-informed, victim-centered services. Collaborates with law enforcement, courts, and community partners to improve the systemic response to DV survivors. Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to assess service delivery, identify trends, and make program improvements. Develops and implements standard operating procedures and service protocols in accordance with best practices. Designs and facilitates in-service trainings for advocacy staff and outreach to the community. Prepares regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. KSAs Demonstrated knowledge of DV, victimization, and trauma-informed practices. Knowledge of the civil and criminal justice systems as they relate to victim advocacy. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including team-building and performance management. Experience with program evaluation and performance reporting. Ability to manage crisis situations and make independent decisions. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop, implement, and assess policies, protocols, and outreach initiatives. Familiarity with grant compliance and funding requirements in victim services.
