Role Description The Property Manager for Permanent Supportive Housing is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX. This role involves overseeing daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with housing policies, managing tenant relations, addressing maintenance needs, and ensuring a safe and secure living environment. Responsibilities include managing tenant applications, lease agreements, housing inspections, and financial records, as well as supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with supportive services teams to address resident needs. Qualifications Proven experience in property management, including lease administration, housing inspections, and tenant relations. Knowledge of governmental housing regulations, compliance standards, and fair housing laws. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee administrative, financial, and operational tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations, including residents, staff, and external partners. Proficiency in property management software, reporting tools, and basic accounting practices. Ability to manage maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring timely and quality upkeep of properties. Familiarity with supportive housing models and working with individuals facing economic challenges or homelessness is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Social Work, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered. Bilingual abilities and cultural competence are highly desirable. Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
