Pflugerville, Texas We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for a Strategic Funding & Government Relations Principal to join our team! This role will quarterback efforts related to government funding opportunities, policy and regulatory engagement, participation in strategic industry and special interest groups, and collaboration with international EOS funding and public affairs teams. The position will serve as a central interface between EOS business units, external stakeholders, and government entities to help align funding strategy, influence policy discussions, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support long-term growth initiatives in advanced manufacturing, defense, industrial innovation, and related sectors. Your Mission Represent EOS in interactions with federal and state government agencies, policymakers, trade organizations, and industry coalitions Develop and execute government engagement strategies aligned with EOS long-term business objectives Shape and monitor policy discussions related to advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, energy, industrial resiliency, and domestic manufacturing competitiveness Build relationships with congressional offices, agency leadership, economic development organizations, and strategic policy stakeholders Help shape EOS messaging and positioning related to advanced manufacturing and industrial policy initiatives Identify and help position EOS for large-scale federal and state funding opportunities Build relationships within agencies such as DoW and DoE, as well as state level organizations Influence and position EOS early in funding initiatives, consortium formation, and strategic program development Coordinate with global internal and external partners to leverage offset funding opportunities Coordinate with EOS leadership, business units, and external partners to align funding strategies with corporate growth objectives Represent EOS at industry events, policy forums, and strategic initiatives Your Talents 10+ years of experience in government relations, public funding strategy, industrial policy, or strategic business development Demonstrated success engaging with federal and state government stakeholders and agencies Strong understanding of federal funding ecosystems, appropriations, industrial policy, and public-private partnership structures Established network within relevant agencies, policymakers, industry organizations, and strategic partners Experience positioning organizations for large-scale government-funded initiatives or strategic public investments Experience in advanced manufacturing, energy, defense, industrial technology, or additive manufacturing sectors preferred Familiarity with DOE, DoD, Department of Commerce, NIST, IRA/IIJA funding initiatives, and state incentive programs Experience working with industry coalitions, trade associations, or manufacturing policy initiatives preferred Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to operate strategically across business, policy, and technology environments Our Vision Over 1000 sharp minds, about 60 nationalities, one goal: accelerating the world's transition to Responsible Manufacturing.
