Purchasing Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders and requisitions in a timely manner
• Review and verify accuracy of purchase requests
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
• Assist in the resolution of any purchasing issues or discrepancies
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management

Skills:

• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) principles and practices
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and management
• Familiarity with production planning processes and logistics coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Note:

Experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred.
