Job Description

We are a small but fast-growing importer and distributor of OEM parts, located in Yorba Linda, CA, looking for a qualified purchasing/accounting assistant. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing and Accounting Assistant who is bilingual in English and Chinese. This role supports purchasing, accounting, and cross-functional coordination, serving as key liaison between overseas vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely communication.
Main Responsibilities:
Purchasing
  • Coordinate with vendors to request quotes, place orders, and track shipments.
  • Communicate with overseas suppliers (primarily Chinese-speaking).
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and supplier information. Accounting
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
  • Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
  • Maintain financial records and assist with date entry. Coordination & Communication
  • Serve as a liaison between overseas vendors and internal teams including customer service, sales, and project management.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication regarding order status, production updates, and shipment timelines.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve issues, prevent delays, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support project manager with updates in procurement and vendor-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Chinese 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, accounting or administrative roles. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Experience working with international vendors or Import/Export processes. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP or similar). We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
