Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing/Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines procurement responsibilities with accounting support, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and accurate financial transactions. As a Purchasing/Accounting Assistant, you will play a key part in managing purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting financial processes through ERP systems. Your energetic approach will help optimize inventory levels, streamline procurement workflows, and uphold the integrity of our financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in supply chain management while contributing to the efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities Assist in sourcing and procurement activities by evaluating supplier options, negotiating prices, and securing contracts to meet company needs. Support inventory management and control processes Process purchase orders accurately , monitor order status, and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries. Maintain detailed records of transactions, contracts, and supplier communications for audit readiness. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with supply chain standards. Support accounts payable functions by verifying invoices against purchase orders and processing payments efficiently. Contribute to production planning and merchandising efforts by providing procurement data and inventory insights to relevant departments. Skills Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, , and supply chain management principles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Strong communication skills for effective negotiation with suppliers and collaboration across departments. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
