The company provides a wide range of equipment and supplies, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, bar supplies, small wares, and flatware. ZESCO also offers innovative space planning, design services, and installation solutions tailored to the diverse needs of the foodservice industry. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for a Purchasing Administrative Assistant. The role includes managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing supplies, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring the timely procurement of essential items. The candidate will engage with vendors and suppliers, fostering strong communication and efficient relationships, while supporting purchasing operations for the organization. Qualifications Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders and purchasing supplies for operations Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams Experience in administrative assistance, including organizing records and processes Knowledge of purchasing procedures to optimize procurement and inventory management Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and familiarity with inventory management systems Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative support role is an asset High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business or related field is preferred
