Assistant Production Manager General Expectations:

Ensure proper material handling and storage as well as maintaining flow of material to the production team members. Duties /

Responsibilities:

Inspecting deliveries to ensure that they match order and invoice criteria. Receiving and signing for deliveries. Unloading deliveries from trucks. Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items. Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas. Rotating stock to minimize damage and obsolescence. Communicating with supervisor and purchasing regarding delays or opportunities. Provide material to production line when requested/needed. Responsible for removal of waste containers.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

Ability to maintain organized material storage and handling. Good communication skills at all levels. Ability to maintain machinery, equipment, and tools - mechanically inclined. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Ability to solve problems quickly and safely using sound judgement. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma. Forklift experience required. This position pays $24 an hour plus production bonus. Why Clayton?
