The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong track record in a similar import industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with our team to develop new and exciting product, checking quality as well as communication with customers, entering orders, purchasing and working closely with overseas vendors. Responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to: Assisting with designing, purchasing and shipping product Building relationships with overseas vendors Understand our wide variety of materials, lead times, production process Assist with design and innovation for new business opportunities Keep track of factory requests and review samples Communicate all changes to quotes, samples and art back to the factory - track and confirm their implementation Serve as primary point of contact for customers and factories Communicate production timelines for all orders Assist in designing/Producing mailers and email blasts Prep and pack samples, supplies, etc. for trade shows Work trade shows twice a year to capture new business opportunities (not mandatory) Requirements for position: at least 2 years business experience Graphic Design experience and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus but not required Ability to handle workload with minimal supervision Team player with the willingness to go above and beyond "assigned" duties when/if necessary Goal-Oriented - acts with a sense of urgency to meet goals in a timely manner each day Interpersonal Skills - excellent verbal and written communication skills while relating well with all customers
