Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing essential office operations such as shipping, purchasing, receiving, and order processing, while also providing general clerical support. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage shipping, purchasing, receiving, and order entry processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Review and process contracts and orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle data entry tasks and maintain accurate records within the company's CRM system.
  • Print labels and prepare documentation for shipments and inventory tracking.
  • Process claims for lost or damaged packages with the appropriate carriers.
  • Generate and review weekly shipping reports to monitor order fulfillment.
  • Support office functions by ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Provide clerical assistance, including answering inbound calls and performing billing functions.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks to support the office's overall efficiency.
