Purchasing & Inventory Assistant LBU Inc. is looking to hire a Purchasing and Inventory Assistant LBU is a go-to partner for all cut & sewn promotional products. Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm We're hiring a Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to support the Purchasing Manager in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. The core of this role is helping source and order materials, managing inventory, and working with fabrics/textiles — the rest is typical day-to-day coordination. What you'll do: Assist the Purchasing Manager with purchasing and vendor follow-up Source, order, and track raw materials (fabrics, trims, components) Keep inventory updated and organized so production has what it needs Create and update purchase orders Check incoming deliveries and flag shortages/damage Pull swatches/materials for samples and new orders What you need: Prior experience in purchasing, inventory, production support, or materials management (manufacturing preferred) Familiarity with fabrics/textiles is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking materials Comfortable with Excel and basic documentation Reliable, organized, and able to work on-site full time
