Under the supervision of the Director of Purchasing, this position will perform a wide range of administrative and record‑keeping tasks related to the procurement of goods and services. This is an hourly, part-time position.
Example of Duties :
Act as a liaison between the Director of Purchasing and other College departments. Perform troubleshooting, research, and resolve both internal and external inquiries. Maintain and act as administrator for various online procurement platforms. Perform data analysis, data processing, as well as other clerical and routine duties. Prepare journal entries and external correspondence. Maintains records and files, to include electronic databases. Assist in ensuring that purchases are in compliance with applicable statues, regulations and policies. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal clients. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates or higher degree preferred. One to two (1-2) years of related experience preferred. Excellent math and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and ERP systems. Able to work well with staff and students in a cooperative and professional manner. The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The starting hourly pay for this position is $20.

Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
