Job Description

Our Purchasing representative will use skills in communication and sales to research price and availability of a product or service. Purchasing representatives are often expected to complete the following duties: Follow up on quotes and leads to further the purchasing process. Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the vendor, by being able to answer questions. Set and meet purchasing goals and objectives set by leadership. Improve product knowledge to further assist when orders are needed. Keep track of in house shelf items to insure stock. Establish Professional relationship with clients as well as vendors and suppliers. Our Ideal Purchasing Rep has the following skills/qualities/experience: Experience working for a start-up business, preferably oil field related. Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision. Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers. Excellent computer skills, especially typing. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work well under limited supervision. Warm personality with strong communication skills Extreme organizational skills Adaptability Problem solver Radiates professionalism Strong time management skills
Dependable/Reliable Required:
2+ Years experience with Sales 1+ Year Oil field parts/Field Experience 2+ Years Customer Service Experience High school diploma or associate degree Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening Must have a valid driver license Must be able to lift up to 45lbs and handle parts. Must be familiar with Microsoft programs.
