This role plays an integral part of all buying, product development, forecasting, and pricing decisions for 150 showrooms and an endless aisle e-commerce platform. We are looking for someone who has a passion for furniture and excels at using both an analytical and creative mindset in the workplace. The ideal candidate enjoys managing an evolving lineup and identifying areas of success and opportunities to optimize our sales growth. Key Responsibilities Multitasking across various categories and priorities, with the ability to wear many different hats and meet deadlines. Team lead within our ERP system NetSuite and our Collection Extension Program, responsible for all SKU creation, maintenance, and communication. Oversee the sample process from obtaining SKU details from vendors, to product arriving for quality review and PO placement, to partnering with our photo studio. Point of contact for approval of all costs on POs and invoices, as well as maintaining all retails and promotional pricing. Tracking arrival dates of all new collection launches and ensuring both online and in-showroom approved marketing materials are launching in tandem. Ownership over select subcategories that drive incremental sales to our overall Case Goods business. Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners both within the organization (such as the Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Logistics, E-commerce, and Leadership teams) and with outside vendors. Source of knowledge for our Northeast showrooms with all questions that come our team's way. Skills & Competencies Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with at least one year of Buying/Merchandising experience. Eager to learn more about the furniture industry and uncover the latest trends we should be in the market for. Analytical thinker with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AI platforms, to develop reporting and help understand our business in new ways. Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and is competent in day-to-day administrative responsibilities. Strong communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with all partners. Always looking to improve processes and effectively solve problems in a timely manner. Someone who is up for a challenge and who can be flexible in an ever-changing landscape of responsibilities and priorities. Ability to travel within our showroom region and opportunity to attend Market weeks. This role will work in the office full time at our Field Support Center in Liverpool, NY.
