  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Adecco is currently hiring for a
  • Purchasing Assistant / Buyer
  • in the Syracuse, NY area.
This is a temporary opportunity expected to run through September and is a great fit for someone with previous purchasing, buying, procurement, or vendor coordination experience. The Purchasing Assistant / Buyer will support the purchasing department by processing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and helping ensure materials and supplies are available to support production needs.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Process purchase orders for materials, components, supplies, and services + Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery updates + Follow up on late orders, shortages, discrepancies, and other purchasing-related issues + Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP/MRP systems and support the purchasing team as needed
  • Qualifications
  • + Previous experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or supply chain support + Manufacturing, industrial, or production environment experience preferred + ERP/MRP system experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus + Strong Excel, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Pay Details:
  • $22.
