Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Order Processing:
    Prepare, verify, and route purchase orders.
      Inventory Management:
      Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent supply shortages.
        Vendor Coordination:
        Liaise with suppliers to track shipments, expedite late deliveries, and resolve pricing or invoice discrepancies.
          Record Keeping:
          Maintain comprehensive databases of price lists, contracts, and vendor information.
            Bid Comparisons:
            Analyze quotes and assist in comparing prices, delivery dates, and product quality to determine the best procurement options. Key Skills
              Organization & Detail:
              Strong aptitude for managing files, data entry, and spotting errors in invoices or shipping documents.
                Communication:
                Ability to negotiate with vendors and coordinate with internal departments.
                  Technical Proficiency:
                  Experience with automated purchasing software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and spreadsheet tools. Qualifications and Experience
                  • High school diploma or equivalent.
                  • Two to three years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
                  • Demonstrated experience with Excel.
