Purchasing Associate Location Lubbock, TX Pay Rate:
$24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Experience in the door, millwork, construction, or building materials industry is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based purchasing systems. Experience with inventory management or ERP software preferred. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Manage the purchasing and ordering of doors, hardware, materials, and installation supplies. Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery. Negotiate pricing, terms, and vendor agreements to maintain cost efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and track material usage for ongoing projects. Review purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules for accuracy. Work closely with project managers, installers, and office staff to support scheduling and project timelines. Resolve material shortages, order discrepancies, and delivery issues promptly. Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor documentation. Run reports and track purchasing costs, inventory, and vendor performance.
