Buyer/Assistant Manager

Thrift @ The Warehouse is a buy-sell-trade and retail store that celebrates vintage, secondhand, and contemporary fashion. We focus on sustainability, individuality, and curating unique pieces that inspire our community. We're looking for an experienced Buyer with strong knowledge of both vintage and current fashion trends to join our team. This person will play a key role in building our store's inventory and curating styles that reflect the Thrift @ The Warehouse aesthetic. Key Responsibilities Buy clothing and accessories directly from the public and evaluate each item based on style, brand, condition, and store demand. Make informed buying decisions that align with the store's look, price point, and target customer. Maintain strong knowledge of current fashion trends, vintage eras, and popular brands. Accurately price items for resale based on value and demand. Keep detailed records of daily buys and manage inventory flow. Provide excellent customer service during the buy process—ensuring sellers feel welcomed and respected. Assist with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining store organization as needed. Collaborate with the store manager and team to meet sales and inventory goals. Requirements 1+ year of experience as a buyer or in a similar role within a buy-sell-trade or vintage store. Strong knowledge of vintage, contemporary, and designer fashion brands. Great eye for style, quality, and marketability. Strong communication and decision-making skills. Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Passion for sustainability and the vintage clothing community.
