General Responsibilities Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we're looking for an experienced, results-driven Purchasing Coordinator / Associate Buyer. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role supports procurement operations through administrative purchasing support, PO Maintenance, shipment tracking, supplier communication, and inventory system coordination. Essential Functions Create and maintain purchase orders Track inbound ships and supplier follow-up Maintain inventory records and ERP updates Support item setup and reporting processes Coordinate inbound documentation Assist with inventory reconciliation

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams. Attention to detail. Organizational skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Competent with mobile devices, email, and basic computer applications. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred. Wine/spirits knowledge required. Compensation This is a full-time position that pays $25/hr. Our tiered accrual schedule increases based on seniority, capping at 160 hours after six years of service. 10 days of paid sick leave per year 1 personal holiday per year Participation in Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) and the WA Cares Fund (Long-Term Care).
