Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to support a large-scale heavy industrial construction project in Alaska. This role is embedded within the general contractor team and plays a critical role in developing, maintaining, and evolving construction schedules in a highly dynamic and remote environment. The expectation is that this candidate is onsite three weeks at a time and then has one week remote. There is per diem if the candidate is not from Alaska. The pay rate for this role ranges from $75
  • 85 an hour depending on the candidates years of experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 for complex, multi-phase industrial projects
  • Partner closely with superintendents and field leadership to ensure schedules are practical, achievable, and aligned with field execution
  • Proactively challenge assumptions, identify risks, and recommend schedule adjustments to support project success
  • Support annual planning cycles, adapting schedules to changing project scopes driven by seasonal and logistical constraints
  • Coordinate schedule updates related to: ○ Camp construction ○ Drill sites ○ Airstrips ○ Water and supporting facilities
  • Analyze schedule impacts related to staffing, materials, logistics, and weather constraints
  • Provide regular schedule updates and reporting to project leadership and project controls management

  • Strong hands-on construction experience, preferably with: ○ General contractors ○ Field-based or trades background
  • Advanced Primavera P6 (P6) scheduling experience
  • Experience with multi-year or phased construction programs
