Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our specialty dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the surgical schedule, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is professional, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and maintain the doctor's schedule with accuracy and efficiency. Master scheduling software and ensure the integrity of the appointment system. Answer incoming calls and return voicemails promptly, providing professional and courteous customer service. Administer and respond to communications via email and other channels. Coordinate with referring offices to gather necessary information for upcoming appointments. Welcome patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from start to finish. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the system. Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal practice policies at all times. Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.Requirements:
1+ years of dental or oral surgery practice experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of dentistry and oral surgery is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal skills as you interact with patients, families, doctors, and team members. Effective verbal and written communication skills in person, on the phone, and over email. Professional attitude and appearance. Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve effectively. Understands and accepts responsibility for the schedule. Basic computer software knowledge.
