Summary We are seeking a Dispatcher/Scheduler to join our team at Alabama Concrete Inc. at our Block Plant in Madison. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient delivery of our concrete products to various job sites, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule deliveries of concrete blocks to customers. Manage logistics to ensure timely transportation of material to job sites. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery schedules. Utilize transportation management systems to track orders and optimize routes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including data entry into relevant systems. Resolve any issues that arise during the delivery process promptly. Requirements Proven experience in logistics or transportation management preferred. Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
