Job Description

Industrial Service Operations Coordinator Location:
Moody, AL (Gardner Denver Nash — 2150 A E Moore Rd., Moody, AL 35004)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. | Onsite only | Direct hire, full time A day in the life When you arrive at our Moody Service Center, you're the first friendly face guests meet. You greet visitors, answer phones, and keep inboxes flowing. Before mid-morning, you've updated timesheets (including the SQDIP tab), organized job packets, and queued up weekly reports. You've checked the COI book to verify vendor insurance and safety-video compliance, scheduled building and equipment maintenance, and ordered supplies so the team never misses a beat. As afternoon projects roll in, you open and track remanufacturing jobs in the UX system, process incoming cores, and keep a tight handle on core tracking. You prep shipping documentation for inbound and outbound freight, send status updates when repairs/remans are a week from shipment, and compile charts, forms, and graphs for operations. You also maintain ISO-related training records, support teammates with light software training and technical questions, and contribute to quality objectives by following work instructions, requisitions, and corrective action processes. Scanning, shredding, and maintaining organized e-files wrap the day with everything exactly where it belongs. What you'll handle Front-desk reception, visitor assistance, and multi-channel communications (phone/email) Correspondence, reports, and presentation prep and distribution Reference manuals/document control and event/training coordination Timesheet entry and SQDIP tab updates Supply ordering, departmental file maintenance, and facility/equipment maintenance scheduling Purchase requisitions (as access is approved) Scanning, secure shredding, and electronic file management COI verification for vendors and annual safety-video tracking Repairs/remans coordination: shipment prep, customer email updates, and follow-ups UX system: open reman jobs, process incoming cores, core process oversight, and tracking Job packet preparation and shipping document creation Log sheets, forms, charts, graphs, and weekly reporting Scrap letter processing ISO training record management Department user support: basic software training and technical assistance Quality support via work instructions, requisitions, and corrective action notices; quality report generation What makes you successful 3+ years providing administrative support to mid-size teams 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Typing speed of 45 WPM and comfort in a fast-paced setting Preferred High School diploma or GED (higher education or certifications are a plus) Background in manufacturing, sales, or service environments Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels Proficiencies Customer Service; Inside Sales; Scheduling Experience Data Analysis and Manipulation; High-level Operations Analysis Bookkeeping; Accounts Payable (AP); Accounts Receivable (AR); Bank Reconciliation Budgeting / Forecasting Experience Excellent Communication Skills Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Basic Computer Skills; Microsoft Excel High School / GED Work arrangement This position is based 100% onsite at our Moody, AL facility.
