Office of the Registrar Associate Registrar for Scheduling Under the direction of the University Registrar, the Associate Registrar for Scheduling (Associate Director 2) manages the Scheduling Unit in the Office of the Registrar and is responsible for supervising work operations and managing personnel in the administration of the coordination, production and publication of the schedule of classes. This includes, but is not limited to: utilizing classroom spaces and managing classroom assignments for class sections, as well as revising class sections, classroom assignments, faculty assignments, etc., as needed. The Associate Director also assists the Registrar in the development and implementation of unit and office goals, policies and procedures which affect the operations of the academic and/or student records of the University; acts with the authority of the Registrar in their absence; and does related work as required. The Associate Registrar is a key member of the enrollment services team who works in collaboration with other managers within the division to provide essential registration, scheduling and support services to prospective and current Kean University students. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. This is not a remote position. Employees are expected to work on site at one of the Kean campus locations. Occasional travel to Wenzhou-Kean University in Wenzhou, China is also required on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience as an administrator in a college/university registrar's office is required. A Master's degree; experience working with deans, chairpersons and faculty; and knowledge of EMS software, Ellucian and Colleague/Datatel software is preferred. Candidate must have experience in providing excellent customer service and excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate must also have the ability to travel to Kean's New Jersey campus locations, Wenzhou-Kean and other locations as required. The deadline for applications is April 6, 2026.
