Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler - Hand to Shoulder Trauma Practice Full-Time |
Fast-Paced Surgical Environment Location:
1520 S Dobson Rd Suite 210 Mesa, Arizona 85202 We are seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler to join our busy Hand to Shoulder Trauma practice. This is a key role in our office and an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical setting. What You'll Do Schedule surgical procedures in outpatient surgery centers, hospitals, and clinic settings Send accurate and complete surgical orders to facilities Serve as the primary liaison between patients and the surgeon regarding surgical plans Provide clear pre-operative instructions and respond to patient questions Coordinate pre-op testing, medical clearances, and insurance authorizations Confirm surgery dates, times, and post-operative appointments Manage urgent trauma add-ons and schedule adjustments professionally Maintain organized, accurate documentation What We're Looking For Previous surgery scheduling experience required Orthopedic or trauma experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance authorization processes Benefits & Perks Competitive pay Medical insurance Dental insurance Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) 401(k) retirement plan Supportive, team-oriented work environment Stable, full-time position If you are dependable, organized, and confident managing surgical coordination from start to finish, we encourage you to apply.
