Overview The Central Operations Specialist is responsible for the real-time monitoring of autonomous vehicle fleet status and depot needs. The specialist will proactively identify, triage, and communicate immediate vehicle needs (e.g., charging requirements, cleaning requests, maintenance alerts, out-of-service status) to the appropriate remote depot teams to ensure swift resolution and optimal fleet readiness. This requires utilizing proprietary fleet management software, adhering to strict escalation protocols, and maintaining continuous, clear communication to minimize vehicle downtime and support high operational standards. Key Responsibilities Real-time monitoring of autonomous vehicle fleet status and depot needs using proprietary fleet management software. Proactively identify immediate vehicle needs (e.g., charging requirements, cleaning requests, maintenance alerts, out-of-service status). Maintain continuous, clear communication with depot teams and management to minimize vehicle downtime, support high operational standards, and achieve critical SLAs. Ensure optimal fleet readiness through timely intervention and resolution of issues. Support high operational standards by following all defined procedures and protocols. Contribute to the identification of trends and recurring issues to improve overall fleet efficiency. Completion of daily reports and documents in line with partner safety and operational standards Adhere to strict escalation protocols for all operational issues. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to continuous development and proficiency Capable of responding quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments; Ability to lift or pull up to 35 pounds without assistance Preferred Experience with fleet management, logistics, or dispatch software. Advanced skills in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (especially Sheets/Excel for data analysis). Prior experience in a call center, control room, or NOC (Network Operations Center) environment. Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology and basic operational concepts.
