TheraSpecs makes precision-tinted glasses for people with light sensitivity, whether it's to indoor lighting, digital devices, sunlight, or other potentially irritating light. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in careful, hands-on work to join our growing team. This is a flexible part-time or full-time hourly (20-40 hours per week) position in our central Phoenix office. A typical day in this role looks like this: You'll operate a precision lens edging machine to cut and finish lenses for assembly, visually inspect frames and finished products against our quality standards, and keep your work area and inventory organized and running smoothly. Much of the work is hands-on, detail-oriented and repetitive, and the people who thrive here genuinely find satisfaction in that kind of efficient, focused, craft-oriented work.
You will:
Operate the frame tracer and lens edger as needed to finish and assemble ready-to-ship products Visually inspect frames, lenses, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards (inspect, assemble, adjust, clean, repair, organize) Track and report on quality issues; participate in product evaluation discussions Monitor, prepare, and maintain stock and organization of supplies Prepare supplies and materials for fulfillment Handle customer repairs and spare parts maintenance Prepare and ship monthly bulk restocks for Amazon international warehouses Plan your work with the team according to current priorities Look for opportunities to consistently improve our systems and procedures You have: High attention to detail and reliability A team-oriented attitude with communication and planning skills The ability to see fine detail during visual inspection Great organizational skills The ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time The desire to master a skill through repetition and do it with consistent precision An interest in work where quality is visible and the standard is yours to maintain A mindful, positive outlook toward life and work Are you a careful, focused person who takes quiet pride in doing detail-oriented work well, every time?
