Job Overview AmWest Funding Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Clerk to support our Post-Closing team in managing mortgage loan documentation and trailing loan files. This role helps ensure loan files are complete, compliant, and delivered to investors within required timelines. It is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in mortgage operations or financial services. Responsibilities Review mortgage loan documents for accuracy and completeness. Track trailing documents including recorded mortgages, assignments, and title policies. Follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure loan files are completed in a timely manner. Upload and organize loan documentation within the Loan Origination System (LOS). Coordinate shipment of documents to investors and document custodians. Support the operations team with administrative and documentation tasks. Provides cross-functional support to front desk operations when needed, serving as an initial point of contact by welcoming visitors, managing calls, and coordinating mail distribution. Skills Strong attention to detail when reviewing documents. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 20lb.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Administrative, financial services, or mortgage industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
