We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our San Francisco office. What You'll Be Doing:
Schedule Coordination:
Manage and maintain the schedules for clinician visits based on patient preferences, clinical requirements, and available resources.
Collaborative Communication:
Work closely with clinical teams in San Francisco and Walnut Creek to ensure seamless patient care. Communicate changes to staff, patients, and supervisors in a timely manner.
Intake & Scheduling Support:
Assist with intake processes and ensure that cases are filled within established time frames. Responding to
Emergencies:
Handle urgent schedule changes and adjust staffing as needed to accommodate emergency situations.
Team Support:
Provide clear direction to direct care employees and troubleshoot scheduling issues as they arise, ensuring continuous patient care.
Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain accurate time records and ensure adherence to agency policies and healthcare regulations.
Why You'll Be Successful:
Experience:
At least one year of scheduling or intake experience in home health or hospice care is preferred.
Detail-Oriented:
You're able to juggle multiple tasks with precision, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and communication.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office, with strong computer skills.
Excellent Communicator:
Clear, professional communication both over the phone and in writing is essential. You're comfortable managing a high volume of calls.
Adaptable & Organized:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong time management skills, and are quick to adapt to new processes or systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in scheduling or intake for home health or hospice care.
Skills:
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations/compliance is a plus.
Customer Focus:
A passion for delivering exceptional service to patients and team members.
Work Environment:
Location:
In-person at our San Francisco office.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed based on operational requirements.
