About the Company Serenity Care Health Group is a growing healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and services across multiple business lines, including Adult Day Health Care, Assisted Living, Primary Care, and other healthcare-related ventures throughout Los Angeles County. This position is intended to develop into a key operational support role within the Adult Day Health Care program and serve as a trusted resource for staff, participants, and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, taking ownership of responsibilities, supporting staff, and helping ensure operations run smoothly in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As part of our team, you will gain exposure to healthcare operations, compliance, transportation coordination, staff support, leadership development, and operational improvement initiatives. High-performing team members may also have opportunities to assist with Executive Operations projects and broader organizational initiatives. Job Description The ADHC Operations Coordinator serves as a key operational support resource for the Adult Day Health Care Center. This role supports leadership by assisting with daily operations, transportation coordination, administrative processes, staff support, participant services, and operational follow-through. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who communicates proactively, follows through on commitments, identifies problems before they escalate, and can be trusted to help keep operations moving forward. This position is primarily based within our Adult Day Health Care program and is designed to develop into a key operational support role for the center. Key Responsibilities Operations & Staff Support Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational questions and concerns Assist with daily center operations and workflow Assist with supervision and participant support Provide operational support to staff throughout the day Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and participant experience Serve as a liaison between internal departments Ensure timely, organized, and professional communication across teams Support cross-functional operational initiatives as the company expands Assist with resolving routine operational issues and escalating concerns when appropriate Support staff with center processes, procedures, and workflow coordination Transportation & Administrative Coordination Distribute, collect, and review transportation logs Follow up regarding missing or incomplete documentation Coordinate transportation corrections and reporting Maintain employee personnel files and documentation Assist with onboarding and administrative processes Organize operational records and compliance-related documentation Operational Improvement & Leadership Support Assist leadership with operational follow-up and task completion Monitor workflows and identify opportunities for improvement Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development initiatives Assist with developing and implementing SOP's Support audits, surveys, and regulatory visits Communicate effectively with leadership regarding operational challenges and opportunities Executive & Leadership Support Provide direct operational and administrative support to the CEO, Vice Presidents, and Corporate Team. Independently prioritize and execute daily operational tasks. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Expansion Coordination Support grand openings and new facility launches (including coordination with local agencies). Assist with applications, permits, compliance documentation, and regulatory research. Coordinate vendor communications and procurement of supplies. Conduct research to support operational decision-making. Growth & Development Opportunities As the successful candidate demonstrates reliability, initiative, and strong operational performance, opportunities may become available to assist with Executive Operations projects and organizational initiatives. Qualifications Experience working in operations, corporate, or administrative environments preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Experience supporting executives or leadership teams is a plus Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite or equivalent software Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, Adult Day Health Care, Assisted Living, or related settings Experience supporting management or leadership teams Experience maintaining personnel files and compliance documentation Desired Characteristics We are looking for someone who: Takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities Anticipates needs and proactively addresses issues Requires minimal supervision and follow-up Demonstrates professionalism and accountability Communicates effectively and consistently Is highly organized and dependable Thrives in a fast-paced environment Is willing to assist wherever operational support is needed Wants to grow into a larger operational leadership role over time Travel Requirements This position is primarily based at our Adult Day Health Care Center but may occasionally require travel between company locations throughout Los Angeles County for meetings, training, operational support, or special projects.
