In this role, you will develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules that ensure timely completion, optimize resource allocation, and align with project goals. Your expertise in construction management software and project scheduling tools will be essential to streamline workflows, facilitate effective communication among teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality on-site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives by leveraging your skills in project coordination, estimating, and contract management. Duties Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates. Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software. Create Earned Value Curves based on
LAUSD EVA
template guidelines. Perform QA/QC on contractors' schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements. Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity. Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types. Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates.
Experience:
One (1) year full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
Education & Qualifications:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staffSuperior organizational and planning skills
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
