Cross-Border Operations Specialist Job Solutions Forwarding San Pedro, CA Job Details Full-time $51,000 - $63,000 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Associate's degree Full Job Description Responsibilities Provide daily follow‑up on import customs‑clearance operations into Mexico to ensure accurate and timely release. Serve as the main point of contact between clients, carriers, warehouses, and operational areas involved in the process. Verify the timely receipt of all documentation required for customs clearance and follow up on any pending information. Monitor shipment status and proactively inform all parties involved about progress, issues, or potential delays. Identify, escalate, and track operational incidents that may affect clearance times or the release of goods. Ensure that all processes are executed in accordance with internal policies and applicable customs regulations. Objective To provide comprehensive follow‑up on clients' customs‑clearance operations into Mexico, acting as a liaison between clients, carriers, and the operational areas involved. The goal is to ensure effective communication, proper document management, and the timely execution of customs processes, guaranteeing efficient cargo release and overall customer satisfaction. Specific Functions Coordinate with the corresponding personnel the inspection and subdivision of regulated goods. Perform reconciliation and verification of regulated merchandise. Coordinate the preparation of customs entries ( pedimentos ) with the assigned team. Review customs entries and supporting documents for clearance. Prepare customs entries when required. Validate and process payment for consolidated/global customs entries. Prepare DODA documentation. Send operational and status reports. Monitor and follow up on KPIs. Provide customer service and support. Work Schedule Monday through Sunday, with a scheduled day off during the week.
