Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Operations Assistant to support the daily management and smooth functioning of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hotel experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. Multilingual abilities and supervisory experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and team coordination. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic resort environment, ensuring operational excellence and superior guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, guest services, and hospitality management functions Supervise staff members, providing leadership and support to ensure high standards of service delivery Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable stay for all guests Coordinate with departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless operations Oversee revenue management strategies, including room bookings, pricing adjustments, and maximizing occupancy rates Handle night audit procedures efficiently to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports Maintain effective communication through multi-line phone systems while demonstrating professional phone etiquette Support human resources functions such as staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Assist with budgeting processes and cost control initiatives to optimize operational efficiency Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies at all times Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality operations, with supervisory or leadership background preferred Strong knowledge of guest services, front desk operations, and resort management practices Multilingual or bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff members Familiarity with revenue management techniques, night audit procedures, and human resources functions within a hospitality setting Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams and foster a collaborative work environment Experience working with multi-line phone systems and practicing proper phone etiquette Hospitality management certification or relevant educational background is advantageous This position is integral to delivering outstanding guest experiences while ensuring operational excellence across all hotel departments.
