Pay Range :
$23-$25 per hour Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Expeditor with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system experience to join our team on the Day Shift. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, components, and products throughout our supply chain and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, supply chain management expertise, and a thorough understanding of logistics processes. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate between procurement, production, and logistics teams to expedite orders, resolve delays, and optimize inventory levels, thereby supporting efficient order fulfillment and operational excellence. Duties Monitor and track purchase orders, shipments, and inventory movements within ERP systems to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve delays or discrepancies in shipping, receiving, or inventory. Utilize data collection and analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau to identify bottlenecks and root causes affecting supply chain performance. Coordinate transportation management activities including freight scheduling, dispatching, and logistics planning to meet production deadlines. Assist in procurement activities by supporting sourcing strategies, category management, and vendor negotiations to optimize costs. Maintain accurate records of materials handling, warehouse distribution, and inventory control within warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow inefficiencies related to shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations. Use mechanical knowledge and forklift operation skills when necessary for materials handling or warehouse stocking tasks. Engage in demand planning activities by analyzing sales trends and inventory data to support procurement decisions. Contribute to supply chain analytics efforts by preparing reports on profit & loss impact, inventory levels, and logistics performance metrics. Requirements Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, or equivalent; familiarity with transportation management systems is preferred. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles including warehouse management, procurement, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), and vendor management. Demonstrated ability in data analysis skills using SQL, Tableau, or similar tools for process optimization. Knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control and demand planning. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, freight coordination (including 3PL providers), and transportation planning. Mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity in materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Excellent negotiation skills for sourcing contracts and vendor relationships. Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot delays or inefficiencies within supply chain processes. Effective communication skills for coordinating across multiple departments including production planning and logistics teams. A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement initiatives that enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
