Occasional travel to Palo Alto, CA (1-2 times per week) We are looking for a highly organized and patient-focused Medical Scheduler to join our team in Newark, CA. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for new and existing patients, providing a warm, professional experience while supporting scheduling, intake, and administrative processes. What You'll Do + Answer and return all incoming new patient calls in a courteous and professional manner + Manage multiple calls and inquiries efficiently throughout the day + Enter and track new patient referrals accurately in the system + Send new patient welcome emails and required intake paperwork + Collect and verify patient insurance information before scheduled appointments + Triage incoming calls from work queues and route appropriately + Provide clear instructions to patients to prepare them for exams and procedures + Confirm upcoming appointments and ensure patients are informed and ready + Resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise with a proactive and patient-first approach What You'll Bring + Strong multitasking skills with the ability to balance patient needs and office priorities + Excellent time management and ability to keep up with daily workflows and queues + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills + Experience scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records + Detail-oriented approach with the ability to stay organized in a busy environment + Comfort working with administrative systems and managing supplies when needed Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newark, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
