$20/hour Position Summary The Property Operations Clerk•Daytime is responsible for maintaining building security, supporting resident needs, and providing professional customer service during evening hours. The role ensures safety, policy compliance, and a welcoming presence at EBALDC properties. The Daytime Property Operations Clerk works closely with the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and Resident Services team to respond to resident concerns and maintain smooth evening operations. While this position may be primarily based at one site, there will be expectations to be at any of our EBALDC sites (need to have legal help with this) Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Resident Support Serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors during evening hours. Respond to inquiries, provide information, and escalate issues to site leadership as appropriate. Support resident needs and help maintain a calm, respectful environment. Security & Safety Monitor building access, check visitors in/out, and enforce site rules and policies. Conduct regular walk-throughs of common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness. Complete incident reports promptly and accurately. Respond to emergencies according to EBALDC procedures, including contacting on-call staff or emergency services. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate shift logs for building activities, visitors, and incidents. Report maintenance or safety issues to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor. Cross-Site Support Provide coverage at other EBALDC properties if needed, ensuring consistency across sites. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in customer service, security, or residential property settings preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism. Ability to follow established policies and procedures, including incident reporting. Proficiency in basic computer use; Yardi or property management systems a plus. Work Environment & Expectations Standardized shift: 8 :00 AM•5:00 PM (M-F for full-time; Sat-Sun for part-time). Required to wear EBALDC-issued uniform shirt and badge while on duty. Position involves prolonged sitting/standing, frequent resident interactions, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
