Production Scheduler SelectStaffing - 3.7 Salinas, CA Job Details $22 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Expiration dates monitoring Stock rotation management Coaching High school diploma or GED Math FIFO Team training Productivity software Production scheduling Full Job Description Production Scheduler - Mon-Sat, 5:30AM-3:30PM, $22/hr The Production Scheduler coordinates blend sheets and creates daily/weekly schedules to meet production goals. This role assigns work based on materials, equipment, and deadlines while keeping costs low and ensuring customer needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Schedule production based on materials, blend sheets, and equipment availability Maintain FIFO and blend sheet accuracy to reduce waste Update system use-by dates and track finished goods Adjust schedules for equipment issues, shortages, or order changes Communicate schedule changes to all departments Support sticker/label programs and generate weekly production reports Perform weekly inventory counts and report adjustments Review and close production orders and report discrepancies Follow all quality, safety, and GMP guidelines Work with Quality, Planning, Receiving, Distribution, and other departments
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years manufacturing/production experience; food processing a plus Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage schedules Computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred) Knowledge of FIFO and inventory rotation Ability to coach/train others and work independently or as part of a team #nowhiring High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years manufacturing/production experience; food processing a plus Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage schedu
