Job Description
Inventory Operations Manager — Cin7 Implementation & Ownership San Fernando, CA • $35/hr • On-site About the role We're hiring someone to build our inventory and warehouse management muscle from the ground up — and then run it. There is no system in place today. You'll stand up our WMS in Cin7, integrate it with QuickBooks, design SKU-level tracking from scratch, and then own day-to-day inventory operations as inbound and outbound volume scales. This is two jobs in one: an implementation lead who can architect the system, and an inventory manager who can operate it with discipline once it's live. Phase 1 — Build Implement and configure Cin7 as our WMS and source of truth for inventory Design the database structure for granular SKU-level tracking — every unit accounted for, every movement logged Integrate Cin7 with QuickBooks so financials and inventory stay in sync Build receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping workflows that the warehouse can actually follow Establish cycle count and reconciliation processes Document everything Phase 2 — Run (ongoing) Manage all inbound and outbound inventory movement at the warehouse Maintain SKU-level accuracy across the system — on-hand, allocated, available, in-transit Process receiving against POs, resolve discrepancies, handle returns Coordinate with the warehouse floor on picks and shipments Own the integrity of inventory data flowing into QuickBooks What we're looking for Hands-on WMS implementation experience — Cin7 strongly preferred Real inventory management chops: you've personally managed SKUs in a warehouse, not just supervised it from a desk QuickBooks integration experience (QBO or Desktop) Comfortable building processes from nothing — no existing playbook to lean on Detail-oriented at the SKU level; willing to chase down a missing unit Nice to have Barcode/scanner workflow setup Experience with high-SKU-count or apparel/footwear inventory Multi-channel fulfillment background
