Job Description
Description We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join a consumer banking team in San Francisco, California in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. This position supports operational performance within a credit card environment, with a strong focus on service trends, process oversight, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with call center performance indicators, evaluating business impact, and helping improve day-to-day operations through careful analysis and coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor operational activity and interpret call center performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support processes related to credit card and consumer lending operations by ensuring work is completed accurately and in alignment with established standards.
- Review service levels, productivity results, and quality indicators to help leadership make informed operational decisions.
- Conduct criticality assessments to prioritize issues, evaluate business impact, and recommend appropriate next steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve operational challenges and strengthen workflow efficiency across consumer banking functions.
- Prepare reports and summaries that highlight performance outcomes, emerging concerns, and areas requiring attention.
- Assist with process updates, procedural changes, or operational transitions when needed, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities. Requirements
- Experience working in operations within consumer banking, credit card services, or consumer lending environments.
- Knowledge of call center metrics and the ability to use performance data to support operational improvements.
- Familiarity with criticality analysis and risk-based prioritization of operational issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in collaborating with business partners and supporting process execution across operational teams.
