Principal Accountabilities Monitors open purchase order backlog. Maintain records of outstanding purchase orders. Ensures timely deliveries of orders. Resolve delinquent orders. Collaborate with Sales Team and buyers to schedule deliveries. Communicate with suppliers via email and telephone. Build relationships with assigned suppliers. Nature and Scope The Nature of this position is to provide a high level of clear and effective communication. This role also requires analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. This position is 100% on-site (not remote) in a busy office environment using standard office equipment. They will need to talk/listen, stand, sit, read written instructions/reports, and type often. They occasionally may need to climb stairs, crouch, kneel, and balance. Mental demands include the ability to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors that are customary in a high paced environment, such as completing deadlines, solving issues, interacting with a variety of individuals and organization of multiple tasks. Overtime may sometimes be required. Background Experience and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. A basic understanding of the manufacturing process of fasteners. Computer skills, including the ability to operate computerized spreadsheets and word-processing programs. Basic Microsoft Excel or equivalent knowledge Email at a highly proficient level. Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills. The ability to organize and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. The ability to work as part of a team Willingness to continue development to self-enhance personal performance.
