We are growing rapidly throughout California and looking for committed professionals who want to make a difference.Position Overview :
The Nurse Scheduler plays a critical role in coordinating and maintaining efficient nursing schedules for our infusion therapy services. This individual will ensure appropriate staffing across multiple locations, balancing patient care needs, nurse availability, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both nursing staff and leadership.Key Responsibilities :
Develop, manage, and maintain accurate schedules for infusion nurses across multiple locations. Coordinate coverage for new patient starts, routine visits, and urgent care needs. Communicate regularly with nurses regarding shift assignments, availability, and changes. Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to align staffing with patient care needs and pharmacy operations. Monitor schedule gaps, cancellations, and overtime to ensure compliance and efficiency. Input, track, and update scheduling data in the scheduling system and internal databases. Maintain accurate records of nurse licensure, credentials, availability, and location preferences. Assist with onboarding schedules for new nursing hires. Collaborate with HR and leadership to support recruiting efforts for nursing coverage in expanding markets. Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day nurse scheduling questions or conflicts.Qualifications :
Proven experience in a Nurse Scheduler position. 2+ years of experience in medical scheduling, workforce coordination, or administrative support in a healthcare setting. Experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or ambulatory infusion center settings. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships. Proficient in using CRM/scheduling systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools including CPR+ and AlayaCare (a must) Knowledge of nursing licensure and credentialing requirements. Familiarity with healthcare and infusion therapy processes is a plus.Why Join Apex Infusion :
