Job Description

Pacific Imaging Management LLC is looking for a full time team member in our Patient Scheduling Department located in Templeton. Our company motto is "Where Compassion meets Technology". Job description:
This position is responsible for scheduling medical appointments, inputting accurate insurance information. Must perform duties calmly and effectively as appropriate in a medical environment and be able to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions. Using automated systems efficiently to expedite patient scheduling. Must comply with all applicable regulations relating to patient privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information. Works with others in a team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the public at large. Offers friendly, courteous and confidential assistance to every patient, ensuring a positive experience.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Excellent communication, organizational and data entry skills are required. Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and be able to make sound decisions in a high stress environment. A working knowledge of medical imaging procedures would be helpful. A general ability to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions as well as ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures to general duties is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work may require sitting or standing for long periods of time; stooping, bending, and stretching for files and supplies; and occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and other office equipment. It is necessary to view a computer monitor and input data into the computer for long periods of time. Quick learner Great computer skills needed Candidate must be engaged daily to learn new skills.
