Operations Coordinator (Hourly, Full-Time) Help Bring Authentic Japanese Omusubi to the U.S. About Hyakunousha Hyakunousha (百農社) is the parent company of OMUSUBI , a brand dedicated to connecting people and enriching communities through Japanese culinary culture. Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our store operations team in Los Angeles. This is a fully in-person role that plays a key part in vendor coordination, purchasing, inventory management, and day-to-day operational support. This position will also assist with new store openings , administrative coordination, and cross-functional projects, working closely with the Director of Operations (DO), Shop Leadership, and Accounting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Management Manage relationships with key vendors (food suppliers, Alsco, Ecolab, etc.) Set up new vendor accounts and maintain strong vendor partnerships Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues proactively Purchasing & Invoice Management Create and manage purchase orders (POs) to support store needs Verify deliveries against invoices to ensure accuracy Ensure invoices are accurate, organized, and submitted to Accounting in a timely manner Collaborate closely with Accounting to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper tracking Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory levels and establish proper par levels Conduct regular inventory checks and audits with Shop Leadership Track usage trends and identify opportunities to minimize waste Ensure accuracy of food and supply stock across locations Operations & Administrative Support Support the Director of Operations and Shop Leadership with day-to-day administrative needs Print menus, training materials, and operational documents Assist with R&M (Repairs & Maintenance) coordination and serve as an onsite point of contact Collaborate with the DO to optimize storage and organizational systems across locations Assist with picking up and delivering materials and goods to support operations Support shop-level administrative tasks and process consistency Store Expansion Support Assist in setting up new store locations , including vendor coordination and supply planning Ensure operational readiness and proper setup of inventory and materials Support execution of new store opening initiatives Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in restaurant operations, inventory, purchasing, or vendor coordination Experience in hospitality, retail, or food service strongly preferred Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, in-person environment Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Experience working cross-functionally with accounting or finance teams is a plus Work Environment Based in Los Angeles; fully in-person role Combination of desk work and in-store/shop-level execution Frequent collaboration with Shop Leadership, Operations, and Accounting May involve light lifting of supplies and materials (up to 25 lbs) Our Culture At Hyakunousha, we work as

Compensation Hourly Rate:
