Interested applicants must apply online by visiting the Denver Public Schools job board at careers.dpsk12.org . •About this job: The Operations Coordinator for ESS is responsible for coordination and oversight for operational functions, such as financial, data, communications, project coordination, and related program or school needs. Works cross-functionally to orchestrate system and process enhancements, develop solutions, and ensure efficient and effective operations.

Salary Range:

What You'll Do:
Assists with operational planning and implementation for program or school Supports the development and implementation of operational processes/procedures and identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness Collects, reviews, and processes various financial information and transactions, including accounts payable/receivables, purchasing/receiving, and other duties as directed; performs analysis and generates financial reports; provides input to to aid in the development of a complete budget Provides project management support, including leading assigned operational projects, producing status reports, developing schedules, and tracking action steps through resolution Manages and sustains data collection and analysis to support the requirements associated with site or programs; uses data to inform systems and structures and support and track outcomes Works in conjunction with administration in scheduling and coordination of external communications to include community relations, media releases, and announcements Coordinates with relevant District services (e.g. technology, safety, human resources, facilities, related departments) to ensure effective operations; may provide guidance or direction to related staff Provides support for grant application and reporting processes, as directed Provides coordination and administrative support for meetings and events, as directed Provides support with ESS Department technology - including staff laptops and websites
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience is required 5+ years of Finance, business operations, project management, or related field is required Bilingual skills in Spanish desired Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to principles of sound financial control Effective time management and organizational skills Effective and diplomatic verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on communications with students, collaborative decision making teams, and diverse, multicultural communities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance Works collaboratively with others on a team High degree of integrity in handling confidential information Ability to work with different levels of staff throughout an organization and translate operational improvement and customer needs into processes and solutions Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
