This position will manage inventory allocations and make distribution decisions using Excel spreadsheets. Assist with sales forecasts. They will view on hand inventories versus sales projections and make sure we have sufficient quantities of flowers to accomplish the targeted sales while not overstocking and avoiding spoilage. The position requires a proficiency in math and analytic skills. The right candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of Excel. You will report directly to the Operations Manager, and you will learn our existing processes and suggest potential improvements to meet our future growth. Requirements:
Analyze current product inventory levels, forecasted sales and inventory trends within each customer location.
  • Provide accurate schedule of required facility inventory levels to maximize revenue and minimize product shrinkage.
  • Produce facility production schedule to meet customer demand and accurate order fulfillment
  • Provide corresponding distribution schedule to ensure timely distribution of products to maximize product sales and minimize product shrinkage.
  • Partner with District Managers and field sales management personnel to ensure accurate product assignment to meet customer demand.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers and review historical trends and forecasts
  • Communicate effectively with production, purchasing and distribution teams regarding product requirements and order fulfillment needs.
  • Diligent analysis of annual sales projections, actual sales, current product levels, and potential shrink factors to maintain appropriate product levels.
  • Consistent focus on providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customer.
  • Supports continuous improvement and automation activities
