Job Description

Operations Coordinator - Construction (Own It, Don't Assist It) We're not looking for an "admin." We're looking for someone who can take control of the moving parts of a construction business —budgets, materials, subs, schedules—and keep everything running without constant direction. If you need step-by-step instructions all day, this isn't for you. If you like organizing chaos, catching mistakes, and making things run clean—keep reading. What You'll Be Responsible For Own JobTread updates (costs, budgets, invoices) Send and track subcontractor bids Order materials based on pricing, timelines, and availability Keep projects organized and moving forward Maintain calendars and scheduling Handle light client communication when needed What Success Looks Like We are no longer entering costs or chasing subs Materials show up when they're supposed to The schedule is clear and maintained Fewer things fall through the cracks You see problems early and handle them What We're Looking For Extremely organized and detail-driven Takes ownership without being asked Comfortable figuring things out without perfect instructions Clear, direct communicator Can manage multiple moving pieces without getting overwhelmed Bonus if you have experience with construction, project coordination, or tools like JobTread—but not required. What This Is NOT Not a "help where needed" role Not a slow-paced office job Not a position where you wait to be told what to do Pay & Structure $28-$32/hour to start 30-40 hours per week Opportunity to grow into a long-term operations role How to Apply Send your resume and include a short paragraph answering this: 1. We care about doing things right, not just getting them done. •This position starts as a 1099 contractor role. You will have autonomy in how you manage your time and responsibilities, but you will be expected to own outcomes and keep projects moving.
Pay:
