Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for consultations, diagnostic tests, treatments, and follow-up visits. Communicate appointment details to patients via phone, email, or in-person interactions. Review orders for correctness and authorization requirements. Request new or revised orders when needed. Utilize many different provider portals to verify eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorizations. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding appointment scheduling procedures, pre-operative preparations, and post-operative care. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) in handling patient information and medical records.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Customer service experience is highly preferred.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
