Panda Home Care is a locally owned and compassionate home care agency dedicated to supporting seniors and families throughout Connecticut. We believe in delivering care with dignity, respect, and reliability — and we're looking for a caring, organized professional to join our team.
Position Overview:
We're seeking a Care Coordinator to work from our Glastonbury office . This role involves scheduling caregivers, communicating with clients and families, and ensuring that our clients receive high-quality, consistent care. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule caregivers for client shifts. Communicate daily with clients, caregivers, and families to ensure smooth care coverage. Manage schedule changes, last-minute adjustments, and caregiver callouts efficiently. Support clients and staff with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Maintain accurate records and documentation in our scheduling system. Assist with caregiver onboarding, training coordination, and general office support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Previous scheduling and/or caregiving experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication and multitasking skills — able to stay calm and organized under pressure. Proficiency with computers and scheduling software (training provided). Positive attitude, team player, and commitment to helping others. Willing to train the right candidate who is motivated to grow in the home care field.
Schedule:
Full-time; Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM•5:00
PM Compensation:
$19.50 hourly 120 PTO hours yearly
