Medical Scheduler

CT Asthma and Allergy Center is looking for Full Time Phone Operator who will operate as part of a team within our Practice. This position will require you to provide excellent customer service skills over the phone in a fast-paced office setting. EPIC experience recommended, but not required. Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:45am-4:30pm.

Specific Duties will include:

Handling of both Inbound and Outbound call volume Scheduling and rescheduling of appointments Follow specific Provider Scheduling Guidelines Taking messages from callers and routing them to the correct party Calling patients to relay messages from Providers and confirm appointments Working with Providers, Medical Assistants, Nurses and Scribes to ensure patients' needs are met. Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the practice.

Strong Customer Service Skills Organizational Skills Multi-tasking capabilities Strong computer skills and ability to navigate an EMR High level of professionalism Reliable attendance and punctuality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Call center experience preferred.
