Job Description

Overview Seeking a motivated college student (Business or related field) for a summer internship within a pharmaceutical manufacturing operations team. This role provides exposure to GMP manufacturing environments, operational workflows, and collaboration across functional teams. This role will support process implementation, document control and consolidation, record keeping and more. While also gaining knowledge of GMP manufacturing and valuable leadership experience. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist in mapping, implementation and documenting manufacturing processes (dispensing, granulation, encapsulation, compression, coating, etc.) Conduct time studies and analyze workflow efficiency Support continuous improvement initiatives (material flow, changeover reduction etc.) Analyze operational data (downtime, yield, deviations) and present findings Review SOPs for clarity and usability improvements Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams Shadow operators and supervisors during day-to-day operations Prepare presentations summarizing project outcomes and recommendations Learning Objectives Gain understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP regulations Experience in managing people and day-to-day operations to build leadership skills Develop data analysis and problem-solving skills Learn operational excellence and continuous improvement methods Build cross-functional communication experience Qualifications Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or related field Strong analytical and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Good communication skills Interest in manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical industry Need help finding the right job?
